Bradley Robinson

Graduate Research Associate

Bradley Robinson is a PhD student in the Kinesiology Department at The Ohio State University and is interested in Athletic Performance. Bradley was a student-athlete on Ohio States football team where he earned 4 Big Ten championships and was a 6 time Academic All-Big Ten. In 2022 he received the Rose Bowl Game Scholar Athlete award for his academic achievements and achievements in the Rose Bowl Game. Bradley completed two Bachelor’s degrees at Ohio State, one in Human Nutrition and another in Human Development before going on to receive his Masters in Exercise Science. During his Masters he worked in The Volek Low Carbohydrate lab that focuses on Ketogenic Diets/supplements and metabolism effect on health and exercise performance. While there, he lead multiple studies on ketone supplements and their effects on exercise on recovery. 

Research/Career Focus:
Identifying methods to boost overall athlete performance with a focus on recovery, cognition, nutrition, and metabolism. Evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of recovery strategies for elite athletes. Characterize athlete monitoring approaches in order to optimize performance and feedback in real time performance and recovery scenarios.
