Angela Emerson, MPH
Angela Emerson, MPH, is the Assistant Director of Research for the Human Performance Collaborative (HPC). In this role she works closely with the HPC Faculty Lead and Managing Director to develop, implement, and execute all aspects of research projects.
She has over twelve years of experience working in public health and clinical research. Her expertise includes FDA and IRB research compliance, research design, process improvement, and data management. She enjoys building diverse teams to solve complex problems and is particularly interested in research focused on mental health and cognitive recovery.
Angela holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from The Ohio State University. She lives in New Albany with her husband Geremiha and two cats. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching true crime documentaries, and exercising.
