Exploring Bioastronautics Research in Space

Join us as we explore the frontiers of human health and performance in space through a collaborative workshop series. Building on a successful inaugural year, these sessions bring together experts from academia, industry, and government to spark innovation and tackle challenges in bioastronautics research.

Connecting Academia, Industry, and Government to Advance Space Health Research

Through a partnership between Starlab and The Ohio State University Human Performance Collaborative, the Exploring Bioastronautics Research in Space series connects academic researchers with industry, government, and military space professionals. Through expert-led workshops and discussions, participants gain insight into current challenges and opportunities in space research while building interdisciplinary relationships that support innovation in human health and performance both in space and on Earth.

2026-2027 Workshop Series

Building on a successful inaugural year, the 2026-2027 series will feature four workshops. Additional workshop topics will be announced following participant input and planning efforts.
